		<description>I&#039;d heard rumblings about WSB&#039;s interest in the occult but I had no idea it had persisted right to the end of his life.  I&#039;m a big fan of Burroughs&#039; and so it gave me an odd feeling when I read of his knowledge of figures like Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons and Austin Spare, all of whom figured in the research leading up the writing of my supernatural thriller SO DARK THE NIGHT.
